The vintage floral hand-embroidery on this tea cosy has a slightly chinesey look - but that thinking about it, that tree is probably a laburnum and it's cottage garden flowers. It is complemented on with a art deco style abstract print in creamy brown and green on the back. The cosy is completely padded, with the back quilted and the front left plain so as to not detract from the beauty of the embroidery. The edge has been bound to match the reverse.
