Miniature Dolls House Picture
Use this free chart to stitch a miniature 'No Place Like Home' sampler for your dollshouse.
Stitch it in petite point or half cross stitch over just one thread of the linen. Take two strands from your stranded cotton to stitch with.

You'll need a little scrap of fine count linen, I like to use something around 27 count - it gives a nice balance of a smale scale effect combined with being easy enough to stitch without a magnifying glass!
The lettering is stitched in back stitch, and if you prefer to use a different saying or poem at the bottom, I've included a chart of the full alphabet to use to create your new text.
Note too, that the house itself has an outline of backstitch. |
